Merry Christmas, from Spencer! ❤️

Spencer is having a great Christmas! 🔔❄️🎅🎄⛄🎁 He is rollerblading inside and outside! (Yes, he skates on carpet!!!) He continues to grow very quickly. In fact, he grew 1.5 inches taller in three months! He's still a sweet boy, but he is getting a bit sassier -- just like a typical teen. And he has seen "Spider-Man: No Way Home" several times. His favorite dish nowadays is spaghetti with parmesan cheese, pesto and corn. We watched the "Polar Express" -- something he has seen many times -- together this morning. Thus now I understand why he loves hot chocolate so much! ☕

Our sweet little boy is now a teen-ager! He's growing up so fast! He's going from soprano to tenor very quickly! Later today, he will have fun at a family outing that will involve pizza. And he doesn't know it yet, but an ice cream cake is in our freezer! Happy birthday, my love! 💗 🎁 🎂 🎉🎈

Happy Father's Day!

 

Spencer has only a few weeks left before he becomes a teenager! Where has the time gone?! He has a new bed with a memory foam mattress. He cat, Sky, loves it! The bed also can go up and down, like in a hospital. Each morning, Spencer drinks a fruit smoothie with his breakfast. He likes a fresh banana, strawberries, blackberries and raspberries in it, with a bit of a sweet yogurt. Delicious! He wishes everyone a happy Father's Day!

Spencer wishes everyone a happy Mother's Day. 🌺 ❤️ 😃 He is excited that he will be playing his alto saxophone at a family wedding next weekend. His baritone sax (pictured) is nearly as big as he is! And that is saying a lot because he seems to be getting taller by the minute!

🦷You may recall that Spencer was 7 years old when he lost his first tooth. He lost a few more after that. He then went several years without losing any teeth. But in five weeks, Spencer has lost six teeth! In fact, three of them came out within a 24-hour period! He was happy to indulge in some ice cream as his mouth was quite tender for a few days. He can't wait to get braces! However, he can't get them now because there aren't enough teeth in his mouth to hold the brackets. 😃

Within the last week, Spencer has lost two teeth (bottom jaw), thus he refused to smile and show the gaps! Nonetheless, he is having a nice, quiet holiday. Santa brought a skateboard this year! Spencer enjoyed chocolate-covered popcorn for breakfast (!), but he is looking forward to broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole for dinner. He loves his new soft bathrobe and a Disney sweatshirt. I feel I should put a bow on him each year because he will always be Mom's best gift ever! ❤️🔔❄️🎅🎄⛄🎁

Spencer is 12!

🎂🎈🍨🎁 It's hard to believe Spencer is 12! He is having a great birthday today. He received a gaming controller, new books, sneakers and a striped shirt. Although he could not have a proper birthday party (due to the pandemic), he did provide his "12" closest friends with a birthday gift bag. 😍😍😍
