The gift of a lifetime!

 

Well, today is the last day Spencer is "the boy," because tomorrow he will be "the man."

Of course, deep down in my heart, he will always be "the boy" or even the "tiny baby" that I will always remember so fondly. What a gift!

We recently enjoyed a family vacation at Disney World. Spencer enjoyed the water parks, theme parks and restaurants, including Beaches and Cream, where we all shared the "kitchen sink" (many scoops of ice cream and tons of toppings). Unfortunately, he wouldn't pose for a proper photo. But this one is probably a better reflection of his teen-aged personality. 💓

Happy Fathers' Day / Congratulations, Spencer!

We hope everyone had a lovely Fathers' Day. Meanwhile, Spencer recently graduated from high school! 🎓🎉 We had a nice party with family and friends. He received many generous gifts. Spencer ordered a personal pizza with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and tomatoes. And the cake was delicious! He'll be heading off to college in August with a full scholarship! 🎷 We are excited for him, but we will miss him tremendously. It has been such a joy and privilege to have these 17+ years together!!! 🩷

This Mothers' Day, I am so very proud of my boy! 💗 He is about to graduate from high school. 🎓 It is truly amazing how quickly the years have flown by! It seems like yesterday when he was just a tiny baby, then a little boy and now a teen. He is becoming more independent each day! But that's the goal -- to help one's children to flourish and fly! 🪁 He definitely has a bright future ahead!

Sorry that this photo is late, but for some reason, I had a hard time getting it off my phone. Spencer had the opportunity to go skiing this summer, and he really enjoyed it! ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ He now wants to try snowboarding. It's hard to believe he is 17 years old! 😮 It seems like yesterday he was just a tiny baby.
